Your support provider can provide. They may know them as "OEM 75 Manuals". There should be no charge. They (the manuals) are also handed out on IBM DataStage EE training classes. ... I attended a Dx436 session in dec 2006 and they gave the OEM manuals. they are of version 7 and i didnt fi...

yes you can configure. Go to Director. Job--> ClearLog Select Auto Purge in the Clear log window. It gives two options. 1)UpTo Previous (Job Runs) 2)Older Than (Days). Purging logs

Hi i was wondering if there is any way to configure datastage to purge logs when the history of logs exceeds say the last 3 runs for a job. i know that there is a auto purge,but this only has the latest run in the log. i would like to know if we can configure the number of runs to keep the log info....

yes..it can be done thru stage variables. u can also call a awk script if ur input volume is low.

its basically different rules for cleaning input data..there are many such rules that we felt transformer can be too bulky..so we wrote different functions in a build op..

xmlout stage is sequential by default. try enabling parallel mode. but it may screwup up ur xml generation logic based on some keys. give a try.
