Db2 database how to set the db2instance, since db2 server has been installed some other system.

one more when i open any datastage under the "advance tab" i am getting an warning "No configuration file set" when i pass the APT_CONOFIG_FILE it is not showing up please tell me how to configure the default config for entire project.
