i have install infoserver on windows server 2003 sp2 x64 bit, ii tried to instal vs2008 but it is not supported. please kindly help out with this problem.

i have install visual studio 2008 for the complication of datastage transformer, do i need to configure with environment complie variable or just the installtion of the visual studio 2008 is enough

yep i have tried it but there are no sessions open in the console

Hi i have created the job
SEQ----->TRANSFORMER------>SEQ
when i compile the job i am getting compilation error stating that cannot get exclusive acesses to executable file for job testing_trans_job(job_name)- job may be monitor.

please can any one help me with this

I have set collect operational metadata" setting to off

I am not using transformer in this stage

Error i am getting is when i am runnning the any job "Can not open OMD.XML.DIR." but the job is runnning sucessfully. but i dont know why this ""warning"" coming for each every job which has run.

my question is when i open any datastage tools in under the advance option i am getting the warning stating that no config is set up, but the config file is set in environment variable If i set APT_CONFIG_FILE in job parameter seperatly then under the advance option it is not showing any warning. so...

Yes ray that is the default config file for the project
