DataStage Director

I am not too sure if there are any solutions to this but when I open datastage director with categories turned off it takes about 5mins to display all the jobs. Is there any way to make this quicker?

Hash File

How do I know what modulus I should set a dynamic hash file to?
Is there a formula to gain optimal performance?
