matching problem

hi all we had problem in the QualityStage... two rows for example: 234 High Road, Apt 987 234 High Road, Apt 687 could not be differentiated. we set the match cutoff to 75 and clerical cutoff to 0 (should this be negative) dis-agreement to -10. i dont know where i am going wrong. some help is highly...

Hello all, I have been assigned to help the PX admin to separate the PX Developers and the PX Administrator. Currently all the developers have Admin rights. Can any one suggest some pointers as to how sould i proceed? I did some R&D and found out that i can do this at the database level and unix...

hi all, we are designing our load strategy. one case is that during loading of say 1 million rows, job fails after n rows have loaded. now what do we do on the production side. how do we handle the loading from the (n +1)th row. my thought process is to first commit on the target database then we do...

Thanks. I dropped the user altogether and started from scratch. I dont know if this was a good idea but it looks like its working.

specs and best practices

hi kcbland,

our project is starting from scratch. we want to build our data warehouse using Bill Inmon's approach. data is in Terrabyte range. so we'll have to use PX.

before we start we want follow some standards. can i get some info on standards and best practices?
