I had a similer issue and I used the following method to fix it.

I used an external file stage and pass the program as

cat /mydir/datafile* and defined my table defnition as I expect from the fiel and it worked.

In one of Rays post I saw Dataset is the best stage to use if I want to store data for a reference link and the data volume is huge. Then practically this lookup file set is designed to use at which place. Can anyone give me a scenario where this stage do the best fit. I am in to designing these day...

sorry for asking a general question.. All of the suddun my jobs are suffering a slowness in exeuction.... 20 minutes gone to 2 hour..... Its a unix enviornment... the worst thing is the code is working absolutly fine in one server but no tin other.... unix team confirms its fine with unix server.......
