Thanks for the response.

First of all I clarify that file is not empty.When I tried using /dev/null then only its giving source is empty.

Secondly I have given the full path name in my job.Just for an example purpose I have mentioned FILENAME.

Any help is greately appriciated

I have tried this.Job is getting into the infinite loop by filling up the log with 'SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.1p' message infinite times.
Request you to suggest if there is any way to sftp the files using DS particularly with FTP plug in stage(other than Unix shell scripting)

Can any one please guide me with what is the maximum length of the string that we can set to User Status area?Does the user status area have any restriction on the size of the variable that has been set to it or it can accept string of any length?
