Yes, Files DataStage will read and write. We plan on having a datastructure similar to this:

/Data/DataStage/ProjectName/Source
/Data/DataStage/ProjectName/Target

Etc...

DataStage security is set-up in DataStage Adminstrator (Permissions tab) where you would define a usergroup to DataStage Developer profile.

You need Visual Studio 2003 C compiler. Also keep in mind that Windows XP is not a supported OS for DataStage Server.
