how to use XMLinput stage DS

Hi All

I am trying to read XML file from DS job and tring to write its data in Sequential file but not able to write it.Can any one explain how to use the XML stages and write it into sequential file.

Create a stage variable for dname column and write the derivation as If (dname=''then 'XXXX' else dname).This will work check it out

Datastage repository interface error

Hi frns.
While saving one of my job, i am getting a datastage repository interface error as "unable to return an attached job".so can anyone reply me why this error was coming

Hi, Actually even i had faced similar issue.In my case actually what happened was in one of my error link the error message haven't been given in the quotes.So the datastage will be thinking this thing as input column or stage variable......etc so it won't be accepting tht....so please check whether...

You can go to datastage director and use cleanup resources optin to find out the process id of the job and end that process so u can release the job by this manner
