Do jobs in a sequencer inherit the "DS_PXDEBUG = 1"

Hi all. I have a sequencer that has 4 jobs. I have added to Job_1 the DS_PXDEBUG parameter and set it to 0. I have not added DS_PXDEBUG to the other 3 jobs. I have added DS_PXDEBUG to the sequencer and set it to 1. As expected Job_1 is producing the additional messages in Director. All the other job...

How do I suppress a warning message?

Hi all

For a job, how do I suppress the message "Parallel debug is turned on (environment variable DS_PXDEBUG is set)" from the param DS_PXDEBUG = 1?

Thanks in advance for any help.

jhmckeever, thanks for the suggestion. It did not think about querying the underlying database for the answer. I do not see the tables from your query in the xmeta database. I'm guessing the query was for some other version. Thanks again. chulett, I searched the repository for OLETYPE and found link...

What jobs are using a flat file?

Hi all.

Is it possible to have datastage generate a report that will list all the jobs that use a particulate flat file?

Thanks in advance for any help.

chulett, the problem was with the /H=999.99.99.9. It should be /D=999.99.99.9.

I have finally got the hang of this command. One other questions. I need the bitmap to display the stats from of the last run in the links. Is it possible to do this with this command?

Display record counts on links in Designer from the last run

Hi all. How do I go to a job in Designer and display the record counts on the links from the last run? I have a set of jobs that are run in Designer. Currently when I run each job I take a snap shoot of job in Designer to capture the record counts on the links. This is to prove to auditors that the ...

Thanks Ray. I have a third party tool that can do the compare work in a batch mode.

Is it possible to export jobs individually in one fell swoop? I want to avoid doing them one at a time.
