Null handel
I am getting following warning in the transformer stage before loading into final dataset
xfm_tranformer,0:Field XXX from input dataset '0' is NULL. Record dropped.
and the output datatype is : Varchar2(52)

In my job i am loading the dataset to oracle thro copy stage in between
i am able to view the data in daset but my job abort saying NLS language is UTF8 is set not used
I also checked in admoinistrator and oracle stage it set correct only
Why it fails?
HOw to et rid of it?

is datastage px will take date in format yyyymmdd (20070202) as it is with out any conversion

My reqriment is to split the records by month in to 12 sequentil file.
I am trying to split it in tansformer stage by giving the constarint linkname=01(month)
...up to linkname 10 it is working if i give linkname=11 during compilation it gives error.
