[1,1] is nothing but substr, there is no function with that name in parallel job, but yes with server jobs we have that function called Substrings()

This should give you expected results.

Upcase(Column_name)[1,1]:DownCase(Column_name)[2,Len(Column_Name)-1]

i had to define a 35 byte dummy field in the begining, i got this from the business.. thanks ray for your suggestions and valuable feedback.

Cff STage View data Problem

Hi Dsxchangers,

Can anyone please explain me what the below mentioned error means

"Tag value: does not match any tagcase for tagged field"

It mentions about the record types?

One of the columns size was missing,.....

i have 100 records in before dataset and 100 records in after dataset and from CDC i am getting 200 records......

Note: both before and after datasets are same.

Properties info..

1. Drop output for copy= True
2. And the rest all are set to FALSE.

The Data from CDC stage is getting added each and everytime i run the job, Note: I am just comparing the same datasets i.e same data. The Key column i am using for cdc is a varchar column and i have trimmed on both the columns before doing cdc....not sure what else is missing. Yes also i have done H...
