These jobs are there in Production server for some years now using the insert option. Yesterday APT_DISABLE_COMBINATION was set to TRUE. The Job finished in 16 min. However I still can see 8 min delay in generating the insert sql statement in the Node1. Log Example:- 11/20/2014 5:11:45 AM FCMGT_LBR_...

My scenario, I access Datastage client from Citrix and do not have client installed in my machine. In that case, you need to find some remote system where you can find Client installed and run your script If not just try using istool utility ... As far as dsexport, it is not available in your unix d...

In the case of peope it will be CheckOut ID (COID) that will rotate every week or some, and for application/DB NUID which might stay static. For example: SELECT * FROM EMPLOYEE WHERE ENAME LIKE 'ABC' should be passed as a parameter like SELECT * FROM EMPLOYEE WHERE ENAME LIKE \'ABC\' so that DataStage does not parse y...

Thanks Chulett You are absolutely correct, However I stepped into a new thing in DataStage. My job sequence ran for around 1 hours and 30 min for approximately 3742694 records. I was told to remove the length of all varchar columns in the target dataset in order to reduce the size of dataset created...
