connected lookup will return more values and unconnected returns one value. conn lookup is in the same pipeline of source and it will accept dynamic caching. In case of join stage, meta data must be same. If we want to join two or more tables, we need a key column must be identical in all the tables. Then it works fine for you. Another use of join stage, it combines the data in sets.

Hai, While executing a job, I am able to get the correct answer. But my output column occupies a large space. (i.e) single output column occupies more space. for eg. name age yyyyy 20 how to minimize the space between these two output columns.

Remove " " (double quotes)
Hi,
If you want to remove the double quotes, while u r importing the meta data
into your repository folder, a window pops up. In that specify " (double quotes) in that box.
