Hello Friends, I have a job similar to the ranking system in schools and colleges.. I think there should be something to do with the partition for this. Because the propery Number of rows to copy from input to output is per partition. So what is the partition type here. Is it "Entire" Thanks Ramani. Thanks for ur reply the partition used here is round robin.. I dont thin...

whenever we try to load data into the database it will consider datatypes on his own so based on that we need to change or modify the datatype...

Hello Everybody,
I have a paticular job in that i need to send only first 50 rows of records out of 200 from the source plugin to the other plugins can any one tell a simplest way to do this...

Hi pal, whenever we try to read any record of data from any database there will be a datatype mismatch in the date colum bcoz the database itself will maintain its own datatype for the sake of its conviniency the only way to change the datatype wud be using the identical datatype of the database or ...

hi
hashed file: this is used in server job. It does the function just like the Dataset in Parallel job.
LUKUPfileset: it is used in parallel jobs to enhance the performance.
i dont think these two has ever been compared...

hi friend, you can maintain the historical data by creating an additional date column, and maintain those records in a database( eg: SQL) and you can retreive those data with the help of appropriate SQL commands...
