Building User Defined Stages

Hi As i am Working in Unix i need to rely upon it for certain functions for example date etc. And later i found that there is an option in DataStage to biuld our own user defined Stages which can utilize the Unix commands(Wrapper Stage). So i need a good document of this . Can u help me? Thanks Rajesh

Search for DSParams. There parameters are stored in DSParams for particular project in Default Project directory. You can copy the file and move to the other Project folder in OS level. ... I mean that i am using this stage as Target, but i found this is working fine when i am connecting through RDBMS.

Because it's just wrong. Hope Ray doesn't mind this... 4. In simple Server Edition is Code oriented sort of job where as Parallel edition is user friendly. That is complete tosh. Most good server jobs can be created without writing a single line of code. Expressions need to be built in both variant...
