I think it is a DataStage issue. I just got the same error which disappeared after I cleared the lock on one of the jobs in the sequence.

I am still happy with the feedback Ray, whether it is upgrade or Install as we are not sure which way to go yet.

We may upgrade existing SuSe or go for a new install in RedHat or AIX.

Thank you for your feedback cppwiz and vmcburney. It is good to know that the upgrade was smooth on RedHat as we are also thinking of switching the OS from SuSe to either RedHat or AIX for better support.

Do you use any BI tools for reporting purposes ? If you use Cognos 8, they just announced integration of Infoserver products with Cognos. So, it may be actually possible to bring Information Analyzer results into Cognos and customize your report.

I am not sure whether xmeta is the correct user name to use in any client. It is Metadata database owner and cannot think of why it is used to log into administrator.

When I have to clear the analysis information I actually recreate a datasource and project too. I couldn't figure how else to clear the analysis information.
