Strange Input buffer overrun problem
We are getting 'Input Buffer overrun at field' warning while reading one of the CFF files. The import is skipping rest of the records after this warning. Failed Job log: Cff_Fws054_in,0: Input buffer overrun at field "cff_fws054_in_record_type.Mdse_rec.WS054_AUD_ADJ_FLASH_IND_2", at offset...

I used Character set EBCDIC and data format binary. If I recall correctly the imported data type will come as Decimal. I do not have the exact code with me as I just switched my job to some other company. I derived the proper value in a stage variable; If infield < 0 infield * -1 else infield. I wil...

Vivek, The only way I could get CFF Stage with redefines work is by changing the Record Definition. If I want only one set of fields in the redefined group I removed other set of fields. If the redefinition is basing on a specific criteria I created multiple record definitions basing on the criteria...

Import and Export Jobs using a command line on Server
Hello! I checked the forum for an answer but all the posts seems to be referring to using dscmdimport or dscmdexport executables on the client side. We want our Unix group to be able to run command line import on server side as not every one in the group has client installed. I am not able to find t...

I understand SUSE is now in tier I release schedule of IBM for 8.2 release as against Tier II all these days. So, I am hoping the attention issues we had for SUSE in earlier releases will go away. May be I am being too optimistic.
I was told most of the issues we had with v8.01 were addressed in 8.1.

Hi Mike, That is the feedback I am interested in too. We currently finished our development in 8.0.1 in SuSe. We are in a kind of dilemma whether to switch to Redhat Linux before implementing due to the issues we had during development phase with 8.0.1 in SuSe. As v8.1 for SuSe just got released we ...

Did anyone installed ver 8.1 in SUSE Linux
Hi,
I am looking for feedback from anyone who installed IS 8.1 on SuSe Linux environment. I understand the version was released at the end of January.
Many Thanks,
Aruna.
