The key is finding the differences between the two and it sounds like you have. We've seen odd Oracle issues with 10g on HP-UX Itanium boxes, so I'd probably open a support case to see if this is one of the known issues. What box is the development environment? I was told there's no 9i client avail...

That way leads to madness, or at least schizophrenic discussions.
Sorry about that - but I didn't realize that my colleque had already posted that issue. I will mark this post as solved.

What data type is this "spalte_a" column? And are you saying that when it works from the 7.5.2 server and doesn't work from the 7.5.3 server they are both connecting to the same instance? Using the same version of the Oracle client? The datatype is varchar2(100). Sorry - I've forgot to me...

The provided update statement did not prepare correctl

Hello, I've went through this forum hoping to find any solution or suggestion regarding to our problem - which is a little bit strange from our point of view. It can be described as follows: we are using DataStage Enterprise Edition release 7.5.3 installed on a HUP-UX box (Intel Itanium). On the sam...

Try making Direct and Parallel options to false and run. Below quote may be of interest for you In Oracle 10g - 9i combination, when you try to load to 9i using 10g sqlldr it finally try to insert/update MESSAGE_NUM column which does not exist in 9i. Please check following thread for further detail...

That would be the first thing I'd try - a reinstallation of the client. The first install of the DataStage client raised the described exception. Afterwards I deinstalled DataStage and bounced the windows pc. Then I installed DOT NET first and as as next step the client once again. That didn't chan...

Starting Director raises 'Run-time error 13' exception

Hello, On a windows (Windows 2000) client I have installed Microsoft's DOT NET (release 1.1) and the DataStage client (release 7.5.2). Afterwards I performed a reboot. After the logon several messageboxes - because of missing DLL's - are popping up. All of them are related to DataStage. The Designer...

Maybe, in future, it will be made available through DSXchange Learning Center, but those arrangements are not yet in place.
I wouldn't mind coming to Australia and taking the class
But many thanks anyway for helping with my issue!

No. At least nowhere that I've looked. (Well, that's not entirely true - they are documented in my DataStage Administration class - though not, curiously, in IBM's Administering DataStage class.) Any change to get some further information from your documentation  ? Rgds & Thx Jan H.

Yes, I thought it might show internal hashed file errors. The quickest solution with the highest chance of 100% recovery is to do a full project export, delete the corrupted project, re-create it & load in the jobs. If you cannot do this then we can go about looking for the cause, but we've tou...
