I am also facing this issue when trying to connec to mysql.

Can I run both Datastage 7.5.1A and Datastage Version 8 in the same server?

We are planning to upgrade from Datastage Version 7.5.1A to Version8.

Please let me know what steps we need to do for this upgrade.

I am buliding a parallel which pulls data from Netezza using ODBC stage and it load to a file. No tranformations.
I am getting the error:

Non-pipe (or non-virtual data set) with .v in its name

Can anybody please let me know what is causing this error. This is a Fatal error.

Anyone can tell me please how to read parameters for multiple jobs from a single common parameter file.

I know this can be done by LIST.READU command. But I dont know how to execute this command.
