Hi

We have big sequncer it runs 10 or more jobs concurrently ,
once in a while only one job hangs and it is not the same job.after the we start the job,it runs fine.
did anybody came across this kind of issue.

We have added the NLS_LANG parameter to the project as none value and called this parameter to the job,now stored procedure run with in couple hours.

all parent jobs are linked to " Sequnce stage " with "ALL" option and next sequnce stage with next set with "ALL" option.

when i run the sequnce all the jobs are starting same time ,including child jobs.

if you need to run oracle source read in parallel; does the table in the database side has to be partitioned or regular table (not partitioned ) also we can read parallel thru oracle plug-in using partition table option.


Can somebody share the information?

Oracle db source has 10,000 rows and joining with 8mill rows table. Even thought it is a parallel job it runs in sequential mode; job is taking more than 2 hrs to complete. lookup table or source table is not oracle partitioned so we are not partitioning the datastage job and runs sequential mode in...
