Ernie, Thanks for your reply.
It looks like I will have to use a third party plugin or a custom built adapter.

Thanks ArndW, for your reply.
I checked the fields in the MQ stage GUI and could not find anythign that looked like an MD report field.

Could you please tell me how this was achieved?

Thanks,

Websphere MQ - How to set the MQMD-Report Field in a message

Hi,
The requirement is to request for a COA (confirmation of arrival) message when the message reached the destination queue.
There is facility in the MQ stage where you can enter the reply-to-q and reply-to-qmgr.
Where can I specify the MQMD - report field?

Thanks,
Rager

Websphere MQ - Segmentation

Hi,

Is the Websphere MQ stage configured to segment data into 256KB sized chunks when it MQ's a message out?

All the log files in the MQ server seem to be of size 256 KB.

I read somewhere that PX doesn't support Binary mode for FTP. The work around for this would be to define the columns as varbinary and then FTP then in ASCII mode.

Voila! It works!! Thanks for your pointer!

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply, we are already using a job sequence and it has a set of predefined stages like extraction, transformation and delivery. It is the standard made by someone high up and they are unwilling to change it. Is there any way to put all this in one job? I was thinking about us...

Updating and selecting data from a Sybase table

Hi,
There is a requirement where in the incoming data should be stored(insert/update) into a history table and after that two months old data should be selected from that table.

Is there any way to make the select stage run only after the update/insert?
