Pin1 not initialised
Hi, As part of migration from 7.5 server to 8.5 server, we have imported and exported jobs on a new server(DS8.5) and as expected we encountered oracle plugin issues where we manually changed OCI8 to 0CI9 and compiled the jobs on new server. It worked fine(compiled and executed) on development serve...

Passing Parameters in a job sequence
Hi,
How can we pass parameters in a job sequence? We changed in the sequence job but it is not overriding the dependant jobs.
Appreciate your help.
Thanks
Sue

Removing special character
Hi, One of your jobs is failing daily due to a special character in the input data where we need to manually delete that special character and loading the data. Eg: Input data : SDS22MM SDS bushing 22mm ID ¼ key I guess, the input source might have had the data as A to the power of 1/4 and during...

Stage Type Object 'ORAOCI8' not found
Hi,
When we try to export the jobs from DS 7.5.1A Server Edition version and import them to DS 8.5 Server edition version, we are getting following error message for some of the jobs during the compilation stage.
Stage Type Object 'ORAOCI8' not found
Please advise.
Thanks
Sue

Compare two tables with same structures in different servers
Hi,
As part of our testing phase, we would like to compare two tables with identical structures in two different servers.
Please suggest any optimal way of performing this using DS server edition.
Thanks in advance
Sue

Thanks Chulett. Since the file in the solaris server has got the default values hashed out and included new values, i am in the perception that we need to change the default values in the new AIX server as well. We didnt move the file from solaris to AIX yet. Thanks for the heads up. Thanks again Sue
