staff,dsadm is in apps group which i dont have permission

I am trying to login using my own id which is not dsadm and it is in staff group and not on the group dsadm user is. For staff group i have set only datastage operator role.But i am able to edit jobs using designer and admin i have access to all the tabs.What might be the issue.

when i do ps -ef | grep aaa i am getting $DSHOME/aaadsrpcd.

The error i am getting when i login to second server is failed to connect to server:port ,project UV [connection timed out 81015] .

whereas I am able to login first server successfully

For the first installation we haven't specified port number. it took default port 31538.

For second installtion the port number is 31539.

While connecting from cleint i used the port number.It is working for first installtion(default) and not for second installation

I Have doen multiple installtion of Datastage 7.5.1 oem edition on the same machine .When i do ps -ef | grep ds both services is showing i have done second installtion with itag -aaa. Production support will have access to unix command line .Can u let me know the unix commands which will take the log out and give it in readble format

Ours is secured environment and teh client doesn't want post production to access datastage client.How to get teh job logs in this scenario .Or can we have client with read only access (not even datastage operator role where in tehy can run the job)

Even if i set job dependencies as ok conditional and runs when it encounters warning at Job1 it is saying the sequencers is completed and not shows abort.

I got the shared segments with ipcs -mop and used ipcrm to remove it.Then when i restarted teh server i was not able to login from client

No,none of it is running but ipcs -m returns those two shared segments.When i installed first and started the server i was not able to connect to the client

The part which populates hash file doesn't have transformer.The oci stage is directly connected to hash file.

the row count is showing as zero and hash file is connected to transformer stage in the job for lookup .These problem is occuring occasionally only not all the times
