Have you ever tried editing dsx files?

is it a new installation? Did SKG or oracle connector ever work on the system?

validate the entry in tnsnames.ora? there may be some issue with the syntax. are you able to connect via sqlplus?

were you able to locate those two .so files in the error message. And is that path present in there? And do you have atleast read and execute privilege?

do echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH to find if those parameters being used are correctly resolved.

Did you post the message in entirety? If yes, it will be better to go to support. But if there is more to these errors, please post the same.

Also try splitting the job operations to find out where it actually breaks. There is nothing in the message posted, which suggests any issue in particular.

Did you try AsInteger()? I think it works with dfloat too. Truncates the mantissa (decimal part) though.

you should not remove previous sorting as this sort stage will not sort anything.

did you verify if NLS settings are same in both DB2 environments? Are you using the same set of data for both the environment?

Why do you need your data to be sorted on same key all the time? Or are those keys different?

In addition to above post, you can have different password for linux and datastage if internal registry is being used. In that case when you change the password, make sure that the same is changed in credential mapping section.
