There is only one node in which i am working on. Also I have only MKS Platform Components 9.x installed, that too by the Suite itself and do not have Cygwin installed in that machine. I doubt, whether the Space present in the name "MKS Toolkit" is causing the problem because in the error d...

I checked for the user id executing the DS job. It is returning the correct user id in the Domain\Username format.

The PATH Environment variable does have a value C:\PROGRA~1\MKS Toolkit\mksnt; which corresponds to the folder having sh.exe. Still i am getting the sh.exe not found error. I even tried replacing the short path variant with PROGRAM FILES, but with no success.

Configuration File Issue in Parellel Jobs

Hi, I have installed Datastage 8.0.1 in Windows Server 2003. The Server jobs are running fine, but for Parallel jobs i am getting the following error while performing Configuration file Check. ##I IIS-DSEE-TFCN-00001 10:11:18(000) <main_program> IBM WebSphere DataStage Enterprise Edition 8.0.1.4458 ...

The issue is, the logic is working fine with most of the characters but it can't identify anything whose hex value is > 256 for these characters it's reading as ? through seq file no matter...

Please provide details of the connector. Is it a possibility to directly access the master database of the commerce server from DataStage

That's fine, so long as you edit the values file (including saving changes and closing the file) before you kick off the DataStage job whose parameter set reads the values file. I am talking about the value set which was created in datastage designer. Can we change the value of value set at script ...

Not sure what you're asking here. Is the question about a "values file" read by a Parameter Set? If so, when do you want to make the change? Can you give an example? There is one absolute. Once a job is running, values of that job's parameter can not legally be changed. Yes. It is regardi...

Can I change a parameter in a value set at runtime?

Hi
As we know we can create value set in the datastage and we can pass value set as one of the parameter in dsjob command from shell script.
Is it possible to change the value of one of the parameters of a value set in shell script?

One can pass a value to job using by job paramter. And you cant assign a new value to a job paramter at sequence level.
I have tried some time back and this is not possible to send loop counter to job. But you can manage the loop counter at sequence level using user variable activity stage.

thanks.

No, Java Transformer Stage doesn't support multiple reference links. You can use Java Client Stage as a Lookup Stage to perform lookup functions for a bulit-in Transformer stage and it's connected to the built-in Transformer stage using a referece link. Hi But I have tried to give multiple referenc...
