Please give reason for this statement.ray.wurlod wrote: Therefore, if Job2 aborts, no checkpoint is added for Job2, whether or not the job sequence then goes on to execute Job3.

Your first response was The output from the Transformer stage can go anywhere. If you don't want to keep that row, use a Copy stage with no output. If you simply want it in the job log, use a Peek stage. If you really want the row in a file, use a Sequential File stage. A Data Set is overkill for on...

but instead of terminator stage what i will suggest is let the otherwise link from all job activity go to sequencer and for 'Any' option. after that you put a routine activity stage and then use the routine UtilityAborttoLog routine in routine--->SDK---->Utility.. This is better i think rather make...

Period. Of course you could always roll your own job control to do whatever was in your power to crea...

I feel i can help you a bit, though not an expert. Create a Before/After subroutine which does call DSGetJobInfo for getting all necessary information and have function WriteSeq to write them into a Sequential file then calls a Job which writes data Sequential file to Excel sheet using ODBC Stage. B...
