Does anyone know how the licensing works.
I have been tasked with finding out if our company can get the designer/director and manager or are all components together with the administrator and the server piece. I assume you must get a license to run at least one instance of the product.

Removing tabs from a column
I have a table loaded via Excel where the last column of data contains what looks like a pipe but acts like a tab. How do I find out what the ASCII code is and then I should be able to use Convert to remove.

Date after File Name
This can be done from the Sequencer in the parameters section. This statement will format a date as such: 'FILENAME'_YYYYMMDD.TXT
"FILENAME" :"_": Convert("-","", DSJobStartDate):".":".txt"

I am familiar with the sequence function in the server environment, is this done using the surrogate key generator stage, and if so, is the last number used saved somewhere or does is have to be derived at the beginning of job where the sequence is needed?
