Can you log into DataStage? Were you removed from the dstage group for any reason? Can you view the log from DataStage Director? Can you take an export of your project? Yes, I can log in. No, I am still in the group. Yes, I can see the log. I cannot export the errored jobs. I cannot import a backup...

Did your project run out of disk space on the filesystem? Maybe. I removed some core files and am able to recompile the jobs (except the one I got the error on earlier). I went through and removed all core files and recompiled all the jobs I can. I still have some that will not allow me to recompil...

RT_CONFIGxx error

Hi all, Got a weird one. One of our servers has had something change over the weekend, still trying to track it down. This caused all our jobs to abort with no reason listed. Doing some checking, I found: 1)No access to RT_CONFIGxx. I can't compile jobs, edit jobs or run jobs. Directories are still ...

DSN Empty: list returned from host xxx

I've added an entry to uvodbc.config and .odbc.ini. This works on our other servers but I can't find what is different here. Am I missing something?

Problem solved on that. Our illustrious IT staff has moved DS to a link while doing maintenance and not replaced the directory.

This is odd. The login issue has been resolved: To recap: I could telnet into the box with DSADM but could not open any DS client tool with DSADM. The box only had a local user for DSADM. The IT support recreated a DSADM account for DSADM and I was able to log into DS client tools with DSADM. Weirde...

There are two problems (I probably am mixing the two, hopefully they are the same problem) Server is located in London. Two instances DEV and PROD On Prod I can login as DSADMIN but I cannot run jobs as DSADMIN. DSADM cannot login at all with DS client. I can telnet in to the box as both. On DEV, I ...

Are the dsadm passwords stored somewhere else? Earlier I could not log Administrator into the box. I called IT support, I can now telnet in as dsadm but I cannot log into dsadm with Administrator.

DS Refuses to run job or run scheduled job.

Help!!! We have 8 DS servers who are not showing this problem. On the problem server, I have multiple users who can log in. Any user can create schedule, edit job or run job. DSADMIN has access to schedule, edit and run as well. Lately the scheduling has been flaky. DS claims it tried to run the job...

Thanks!

We're either going to get rid of DS or upgrade it but right now we want to test the 9i's new functions with some other schemas on the box.
