Hi. Are you explicitly sorting the datasets before sending them to the Join Stage? If yes, then are you clearing the partitioning before sending them in for sorting? If not, clear the partitioning in the stage immediately before the sort in each case, and then set the partitioning method in the sort...

I am sorry, but could you please elaborate as to how I may store a previous value in a stage variable, and then use it for comparison?

How to assign sequence numbers to sorted data ?

Hi. I have this data which at present has sequence numbers which are not in order due to some data records failing to migrate to target due to validation failure, and later on passing through after being suitably corrected. Now I first of all sort the data on the basis of a key and the timestamp of ...

Sorry for the delay in the reply. I had RCP enabled, and disabled it to resolve the problem. Thanks for the assistance.

Extra columns appearing, even when not being directed there.

Hi. I am using a transformer to perform some validations, and then processing all error datasets using a funnel stage, which then links to a single error dataset. When I am running the job, I am getting the following warnings. fnlEXPDTL0Err: When checking operator: Defaulting "ACCESSID" in...

The key is a character field of length 2. In one dataset, partitioning method is Auto, whereas from the other, the left link, it is entire.

Join stage output quantity mismatch query

I have a job wherein I am joining two datasets using a join stage and join type as left outer. I have sorted and partitioned both datasets on the join key. However, still I am not getting the desired output. I have around 6670 rows as input to the join stage, but as output, I get only 2099. I though...

DB2 transaction log working query

How does the transactional log work in DB2? IS it exactly similar concept as in Oracle. Or are there any exceptions or any configuration related parameters?

I have tried to search on Google, but I am unable to find any satisfactory site. Could someone suggest something?

Truncate Load Write property query

Does the truncate load write property in the DB2 enterprise stage works as a truncate with no logging or is it that it works as a delete and write to the transaction log?
And if so where and how does it pick the commit interval from?
