Is there a way to revert back from DS v8.1 to DS 7.5.1?

DS V8.1 was installed on top of DS V.7.5.1 and upgraded the jobs to DS V.8.1.

If DSv 8.1 is uninstalled the 7.5.1 jbs will be lost along with it?

How much physical memory is in your DataStage server machine? ... We are using 4 GB RAM for our local development server. I'm not sure if the error is due to the way I am reading the xml : Folder stage - > xml input stage -> transformer -> flat file. Is this the correct way of reading xml? Thanks

What is the best way to schedule if the frequency of the input file is unknown?

Should I create a shell script that checks if the input file is existing in the input directory, if existing the shell script runs the job.

Is there another/best way of doing this?
