Recently, we realized when Unix System administrator shut down t...

How to assign DataStage Developer with V8.1?
Hello, Could you please let me know how to assign a DS Developer role in IBM Information Server V8.1? In its Web Console, regarding the DS roles, I can see only DataStage and QualityStage Administrator, and DataStage and QualityStage User. The "Developer" is NOT in the list at all. Thanks

Unable to view the Log file of SOME jobs using Director
Hello,
Could you please let me know why I can not see the logs of SOME of the jobs of a project via the Director? I can see the logs for most of the jobs of the same project.
Please note the disk space is not a problem at all, and the
RTLogging=1
ORLogging=0
were set in DSParams.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks to Phil and ArndW! My experience with the table to do the LookUp for 300M rows take so long. That's why I prefer to use LookUpFileset instead. It has proved to perform very well. In this case, I can append into a dataset and reload to the LookUp Fileset. I tested for 100M rows to load the Loo...

Thanks for your response, Ray. I tried but the LookupFileSetprevioussource doesn't support an output link into Funnel or anything. I did the test to put the data into a dataset at the sametime as into the LookupFileSetprevioussource. Later, I could append into the dataset in a different job and relo...
