Another solution: Check if the user is able to reach the DB-Server via 'SSH'. In $APT_ORCHHOME/etc/remsh you have to change rsh mode in ssh. The Operator wants to start some processes on the DB-Server and cannot start, because of missing Password. That was our problem in that case. Maybe it is helpf...

Hi all.
Only for information:
We had the same error message, after adding a new partition to the database (remote DB2).
After adding the new partition node to the db2nodes.cfg on the DataStage Server all jobs are running as before.
Hope that this will help someone in future cases

Hi together, if i want to start the Director following error message is coming up: Run-time error '13' Type mismatch I have deinstalled the client and reinstalled. Designer, Administrator and Manager are working. My system is Win 2000 SP4. If you have any ideas, feel free to post them. Regards, Sven
