I have two different tables, one has column name "Time_stamp" and the other one has "Timestamp" and when i import the data , the metadata for these columns is LongNBinary. Even i changed to datatype Timestamp.......it is not working. If it is a reserved type........what is the sy...

Hi,

I have a problem with a column with name "TIME_STAMP" or "TIMESTAMP" in some tables. When i try to read or view from datastage, it says that this "filed does not exists". any hints.....pleaz!

merge stage with container as an input

hi,


I want to join a single column coming from a shared parallel container with 6 other columns comming from a db2 table. Iam using join stage. Will this work? Can i use a shared container as an input to a join stage?

i have done that, but the problem is, it is introduing the CR/LF for the wrapped rows also. I tried both in ascii and binary mode. The rows are of fixed length of 3000 chracters. but the some rows are getting wrapped in to 2 rows with around 1500 characters each.

thanks ....it is working....i unchecked the "omit" box now. But i don't understand why it is happening to only this job sequencer...In the same project there are many job sequencers.....and there is no problem with them? can u please clarify?
