can some body give me the solution?. I need urgently. I have everything ready with transformations. i got strucked to run the jobs. The jobs are not processing even to the next stage, it is getting aborted immediately as soon as i run the job. i reset the job, but no use. I am not able to proceed.

When i select "cleanup resources" from director->job, it is giving an error telling "cannot find processes for this job". But my job is not running and getting aborted giving a phantom error. then , How can i release locks on it to make the job run.

thats what i have done previously, but it is not working. Iam using "|" as delimiter. This is the same approach i follow for all the i/p or o/p sequential files. My input file is around the size of 70MB and iam getting output file of 3MB. Transformer is not allowing to pass the whole data....

if you dont mind, can you be more clear. i have 21 columns out of which 6 columns are xml data and when i importing the metadata, datastage is already importing them as long varchar. Can you give an example for this: Specify the end of the record and make sure that appears only at the end of xml.

input file is not an xml file, it is an sequential file with some columns has xml data. Is it possible to pass the whole sequential file through the transformer?

at the database level the, for every 10000 rows it will make a commit and in datastage i set it to 5000. Which one it will consider?

the value is already set to 5000. will it be helpful if i set it to 1000.
