(u can use any name u want)RROWID = :ROWID. Since ROWID is a key word in oracle you cannot use the sameone in the job. Change it to something in ur job and it will work.

Is there a way that i can execute a set of sql queries from a single job. I mean i have the queries in a text file and i want to execute them on the oracle database. I can do that manually..but i want to create a job and keep it in the sequencer? i/p is file with queries and o/p stage should be data...

can someone clarify me on this?

I enabled the option "enable remote execution of parallel jobs" in the project properties from administrator, under the databases section i am seeing only db2/udb enterprise stage. I am not able to see the oracle and other db stages.

i am getting the compilation error when i use a constraint in the transformer .
The constraint is a null constraint and i am using the function Isnull or Isnotnull on a particular column. what could be the reason?

hi andrw: i want to update some columns in a table and if the job aborts in the middle i dont want to commit anything, i want want to leave as it is as before the job started. Only if job runs successfully i want to commit. Where can i set this in the datastage.
