Which is why many folks going to a Mac from a PC simply substitute their USB PC mouse for the Apple one, and it works fine :D

I have no problem with this in DB2 .... for example ....

SELECT * FROM TABLENAME WHERE COL1 IN(#MYPARAMS#);

In MYPARAMS I enter something like 'ABC','DEF' and it works fine. This is for a varchar column - if it was numeric you would of course lose the quotes. This is in DataStage 8.

I'll try this out but, in all honesty, I don't think it is the file. I can view the file with no issue in a DataStage server job. If the delimiter was incorrect it would not view correctly in the Server job either.

Hi, In the transformer stage where the error is occuring, check the level number column. The level number for all the rows should be present. This resolves the error : The number of reject datasets "0" is less than the number of input datasets "1" Hope you find the solution in a...

MarkB, Tried that before, disconnected the active session from the sessions management, but the job still locked. I've not experienced that as of yet. The few times we had to unlock a job, we did it as I described. After a few minutes we'd go back into DataStage and had no problem with the job bein...

Easiest way to do it for version 8 is to delete the entry (locked job) from the table XMETALOCKINFO. I would think the proper way to do it is to log in to Information Server (you can use the web portal if you want or the console), go to Session Management and then Active Sessions then you can disco...

Additionally, I would revisit those who wrote these 'specs' and give them a dose of reality.

No Craig... It is not possible to have 8.0.1 and 8.1 on same client machine or on same server. This is not my message but IBM's message. Sorry if I misunderstand you, but it IS possible to have 8.0 and 8.1 clients on the same PC and switch between them with the MCM. I have both and use both - when ...

This is happening because @DATE is a system variable containing the internal Universe representation of the current date. 14990 is Jan 14, 2009.
