Filesets in Datastage
I have a file set where I want to change the column name of a field without disturbing the data. Is there a simple way where I can manipulate on file set.
In other words, can i rename a fieldname in the fileset?
thanks in advance for looking into the ticket.

dsjob -logsum -logdetail
What is the diference dsjob -logsum & dsjob -logdetail?
We r uisng dsjob -logsum when we want to get the logs for all jobs in a Sequence..I noticed it does give the first line in the log for each eventid but doesn't give the full multi line message..which is Imp when the job fails..

Ray, The value being passed is a table name as Instance id..also all other parameter values being passed are fine too(via a param script file, runs well for other jobs) Is there a Max length for the job name (I think 50) including the Instance Id? Current job name length is 24 chars and the max leng...
