How to get Jobstarttime and Jobendtime for another job (not the same job where control tables are updated)? as DSJobStartTimestamp will give it for same job, but for others?

Instead of writing script. Is there any way where the status of another job can be obtained and can be stored in the control table?

This file was frist as install.liborchteradata with unknown file format then when we changed it to install.liborchteradata.sh its file format got changed to .sh script Now were not able to figure out how to change it back to unknow format. we have a problem
install.liborchteradata file is rename to install.liborchteradata.sh

we need to revert this file to original copy as now .sh file is not the correct one.

Is the any way to recover the file to unknownformat but not to .sh script format?

Actually Job will not take 24 hrs normally but in worst case if data is huge then we need to know how it goes for next day schedule. If its not getting invoked then its status will not be aborted, right?

In 8.1, We are scheduling jobs to run at perticular time daily. What will happen if some job takes more than 24 hr on a particular, then in next schedule when it gets invoked again, it will be already in running state. what will happen to next run then?

WebSphere Application Server is down, i tried to start it manually but again its getting down.

We are facing a issue while loging to the Datastage 8.0, getting an error as Server is not responding.

I checked the services "Datastage engine and Datastage telnet service", these are up.

Kindly let us know if there is any other service we need to check.

We are trying to install datastate parallel edition 7.5x2 on windows. We are getting error as "Fail to set up server engine ERROR 1" . The set up is throwing this error at 26 % server installation completion , when it tries to configure server engine.
