oracle stage
HI-
I have one question the problem is i have to load records from source to
target (actually i have to insert into the target) the database we are using is oracle. For this i am using oracle stage but here we have no insert option so what do we need to do can anybody help on this

How can we fix this error
error Oracle_Enterprise_0,0: The call to sqlldr failed; the return code = 256;

Hi-
When i run my job i am getting nullable field warnings though it's not actually and the job is getting aborted with the fallowing error
APT_CombinedOperatorController,1: Fatal Error: waitForWriteSignal(): Premature EOF on node etldev No such file or directory what exactly this means.

Are you able to open FTP session from your server on which DataStage is running. Try FTPing a file from UNIX prompt. This is to test if you can even start a FTP session. Laxmi try this, don't make them as $projdef in ur parameters leave it as is in the admin... ex: servername: xyzabc leave it as xyzabc don't change to projdef and try to test it now... i think you are making something wrong in specifying the parameters in the admin...try this by doing one by one... i mean to say try to hardcode evrything in the ftp stage run it and c for errors, if you don't find any errors then go by parametrizing username first and leaving the rest hardcoded......

Try hardcoding the name of your server name in the FTP stage and see if the connection fails again.
