Hi Friends, I have a job in production env, which extracts from a dataset and loads in to SAP. Dataset has a some records still the job is not extracting any records and it is aborting. Hi Guys,
Datastage client was closed without closing the job.Hence the job got locked. Itried to release the job thro director it didnt work. CAn u guys help me how to release the job thro datastage admin using command.

Hi all, 1) In My job am using oracle -> copy->filter->modify->trg 2) Instead of copy,filter,modify i can do all these things in transformer itself like oracle->xfm->trg And my doubt is which one will increase the performence.My source has 4 million records. Thanks in advance

Is it possible to scheduled the job (Director) to run for each and every hour ie) Assume that job is running now after one hour it need to run again.....,(My job will finished within 1/2 an hour) Thanks in advance

1) How sorted i/p file increases the performence.
2) If size of the Master table and update table exceeds the RAM size, then what will happen , it leads to page fault error or not [size=12][/size]
