Where does QualityStage store ruleset component data?

Ruleset components are stored local and on the server. After provisioning the local component will be stored on the server. For testing multiple editing usage, we removed both the server and the locally stored .CLS file. When opening the ruleset out of Datastage and select the just deleted classific...

Now we have done a lot of technical changes and promoted the new code in a new DataStage project, the issue does not occur in the new environment anymore. In the old environment the issue still occur, so the cause should be found in some project settings. Although we never found a reason or solid so...

Thanks for your help. There is no pattern in this, the corrupted dates looks random. Running the script several times will cause the same result, but this result changes in time. We do not know what activity is done on the source systems that changes the result. Indeed there are some differences in ...

Timestamp corruption using Oracle Enterprise stages

Hello, When retrieving a timestamp column from an Oracle source and load it into an Oracle source on another server, some (not all!) of the timestamp fields are getting corrupted. A normal date like '30-9-2010' will be corrupted, but the dateformat is ok. In the source and target databases this colu...

Thanks Ray, but this was already done and not the reason for this problem.

The XML license file seems not to be complete. We contacted IBM to get a new one, so this will soon be solved.

client is not licensed to run against the selected domain

In a VMWARE environment we have done a multiple tier installation of Information Server 8.1 (Datastage, Qualitystage, Information analyser) on a windows 2003 platform. We now have 4 tiers: Domain, DB2, Engine and Client (windows 2003 SP2). Installation went ok, logfiles contain no errors. Also a new...
