I understand that its a network problem, But for a temporary workaround I wanted this job to try connecting to sql server 3 times before it aborts. Is there a parameter for odbc stage which can be set to mention the number of attempts to connect before aborting?

But the problem is there are two other jobs which were started along with this job and they also have sql server odbc stage as the source connecting to the different sql server database residing in the same machine. These two jobs ran successfully.

I need to sort the data and i have to send it to trasformer.
I am using Parallel edition.
In that , in Tansformer----> Input , we cn give sort option...
Is it better if i sort the data using sort stage or using sort option in transformer is better?
