Setting the proper Transaction Isolation had solved my problem.

Using the same i'm able to get inside view of some of the internal DS repository tables.

What are you exactly looking after? If you were not able to open the proerties of the JobActivity of Routine activity in JobSequence, you need to check your version of Serverpack installaion and/or a patch avaialble as dsclient_xp2. On doubleclicking the job, i'm able to see job properties. But the same does not happen with Sequencer.
