Are the Oracle servers the same name?

We had the same issue. We removed the opt/IBM/InformationServer folder and restarted the install and the setup did not bring the connect to DB2 server screen up and did properly install the DB2 server. It is a weird bug in the installer.

I believe that this was the correct solution to this problem but since we are having the same problem I would like to see if the OP found out if this was the issue or not.

What version of InfoSphere (8.0, 8.0.1 or 8.1). Also does the remote site have a firewall as well?

We just setup a Citrix server as we are also having an issue with Director. The run-time error is different (339) and only appears once one user is logged in to Director and another attempts to log in.

I'll let you know if we run across anything of interest.
