How can I update the update installer?

Hello all! I need to install the pack InfoSvr_v8.5_FP1_Linux64.ispkg, however an error is occurring, as transcribed below. I read in another post that the error may be due to the version of update installer. The version I'm using is 8.5.0.229, according to another post, it should be 8.5.0.271. Does ...

I created a test and worked properly when I used the routine changing the $ UserStatus within a server job.

However, I need to do this in a basic transformer inserted in a parallel job. This way is not working, the value is not assigned to the variable $ UserStatus.

Thank you,

In fact, I'm doing the migration of a project that was created on a windows server to a UNIX server. This project has several jobs that use the stage SQLServer_Enterprise and I scaled the work that we have to perform the migration.

Thank you all!

SQLServer_Enterprise UNIX

Hi,

We can use the stage SQLServer_Enterprise in DataStage version 8.1 with UNIX?
Or is there some SQLServer driver that can be used on UNIX?

Thank you!

chulett , The value I need to pass as a parameter is the result of an SQL query. To get this result through a sequence would need to write the output into a file and create a routine to read this file in sequence and pass the value as a parameter. However, I can not write temporary files on the mach...

Rodriguez,

In fact, the job JobOD0040B runs only once, as the parent job will generate only one record.
The goal is to pass the result as a parameter for the job JobOD0040B.
The transformer is running sequentially.

Thank you!

UtilityRunJob error with DataStage 8.1

Hi, I am using the routine "UtilityRunJob" within a basic transformer in a parallel job in version 8.1. I am referring to the routine this way: UtilityRunJob ( 'JobOD0040B', 'PAR_DATA_MOV_ABERTO =': lnk_02.DATA_MOV_ABERTO_OD: '| SISTEMAS_DATA_EM =': lnk_02.SISTEMAS_DATA_EM, 0, 0) The job w...

The support of IBM suggested a workaround that worked perfectly.

Mike,

I turned off the level of project in Administrator.
How can I do it a level of job?
When I open the Director, the box "Auto-purge" is always unchecked.

Thanks

You are correct.

But as I said this morning, the problem is with the sequence (SeqChamaRTExecJob.SeqDocSiatcProposta) and not with the job server (SeqDocSiatcProposta).
The log I posted is the job sequence. The job of multiple instances is the job sequence and it is having problems.

Yes, for each instance a different id is passed.
The ID is passed though a different parameter for each instance.

Forgive me, in fact, the job that is multiple instance is the sequence and not the job server. After accomplishing more tests, I noticed that what really happens is the following: I have two sequences, and the sequence father is not multiple instance, but the son is. The sequence son, is invoked ins...
