The column is defined as VarChar 255 NULLABLE = NO on both the input and output side. I have "Replace NULL's with empty values" and "Replace empty values with NULLs" checked As far as the hierarchy it is at the same level as the others (i.eActivitydate) and I have no issue with t...

Just received a response from IBM and wanted to share: Hello John, I posted your question on our internal forum and received the following: There is no documented difference between these approaches that I am aware of, beyond the fact that if you paste IPCs you can decide where to create the additio...

I did sort up front in the ODBC and indicated the Sort order in the Aggregator. I played around a bit and changed the job from ODBC==>Transformer===>Aggregator====>ODBC to ODBC==>Transformer===>Aggregator====>IPC====>ODBC and that works fine. My question is why would this work and having the Inter P...

Definitely no need for a WAS admin. Since the installation here, I initially used it to set up LDAP as the security protocol and never visited it again. We are running under Windows 2003 so I do have a script from one of the IBM pages that has the sequence of starting up and shutting down various se...

The only difference beside the version was the ODBC we are using, unfortunately I copied the 7.5 ODBC to our 8.0 server and the warning persists!! I opened a PMR with IBM so they can lend a hand.

Hi, We have a simple job that has a dummy file going into an ODBC stage (SQL server) taht runs an update statement. Looks like everything is successful but the job throws the warning below. This is the first time we are executing this job in Version 8.0. I just ported this project over from version ...

Thanks Ray...I asked around and some of the consultants had the same issue but never reported it. I guess it depends on the individual desktop configuration, since it works fine for me and a few other developers.

As always Thank You for your answer!!!
