The total records was 1.6 Million and it ran fine and produced the target table with Dec 2003 data. ...

Hi Wolfgang,

I had used the Oracle plug in stage to put the data in staging table and did the aggregation. It works with the database. I will follow up with the Ascential support.

Hi David,

If you want the reject then you need to change the output sequence in your transformer. Change the output sequence to reject first and then to the table you will get the records.

Hi Users,

It seems that there is a bug in Datastage Aggregation Plug In in Version 6. In the debug I am getting the right answer and when I run this in the director the result are different.

If this is a bug is there any patch

In your Datastage CD you have Tutorial. You can install it and use it. Datastage has a help in its application itself which is handy. Also you have Datastage Doc's which comes along with your CD. Kindly refer it.

Creating a Temp table and doing aggregation is one of the smart way. You need to have index on your temp tables before doing the aggregate.
