Preventing an ftp if file is zero length

Hi all,

Is there a simple way to pevent an ftp if the file doesn't contain any records? My job is currently creating a zero length file. I know I could write an after script to do this but just wanted to confirm that was the only way.

Preserving the trailing zero's

I've searched this and cannot find anything that works for this simple issue.

Input data 4.000, 4.100, 4.120, and 4.123
Target Data 4, 4.1, 4.12 and 4.123

I simply need to retain the trailing zero's. I've tried FMT and playing with with the scale but no luck thus far.

Exactly. I tried a Unix to Unix ftp also prior to posting and got the correct result. The unicode option is also not an available for me in the extended column.
