I have no good result with "Ereplace" or "Convert" function because i think i'm in front of difference between DOS and UNIX character.

In log of Director i ave just somme logs with "value too large" because i don't do correctly the substring.

Thanks for your action.

After export ICONV result in a sequencial file, i realise that datastage is Ok and it's OracleClient haven't the same language between old server and the new one.

I always have my problem !
I have not install NLS option.

My LOC0020 is egual to "D"

Why my ICONV function the result dd-mmm-yyyy ? I expect to have date with number format.

Iconv internal date format after migration v7.5

Hi, after a migration from DS5.2 to DS7.5, the function ICONV return a date with format like this "DD-MMM-YYYY" and not a number like with my last version. In first i think it's an NLS problem and i have install again DS server without NLS option but i have my problem again ! Do i need to ...

The second solution is a good idea.
I have around 300 jobs to rename and i will import them with there new name in a new project so i will not have problem of corruption.

RenameAllJobs - Easy ?

Hi,

Is anybody have an idea which function i have to use if i want to create a routine to rename all jobs in a specific category ?

I would like to add just a specific string before the actual job name.
